toujourspur asked: You saw The Woman In Black?! I'm not a horror film person in the least but I'm beyond excited simply because of Daniel Radcliffe. How was it? What were your favourite and least favourite aspects of the film? :)
I’m not a horror film person either, far beyond it actually. I’ve only ever seen The Ring, which didn’t really scare me because I didn’t find it very realistic, but I do get very easily scared.
The Woman In Black gave me nightmares, not going to lie. It was very jumpy, which I didn’t like because I constantly felt on edge. Aside from that, it was a terrific story (I won’t spoil it) and even though it didn’t end quite in the way I expected it to, I was pleased with the ending. From what I can gather the film seems a better story than the book, as they altered the story slightly, but that’s just my opinion.
Best aspect? Daniel Radcliffe in Edwardian costume. He looked BEAUTIFUL, and with those sideburns reminded me of a young Richard Armitage. I didn’t see Harry Potter in him at all, which I think is testament to his acting ability.
You should go and see it, but I recommend you take a man or a family member that you can hold on to ;) I went with a friend who was as scared as I was.
